Preserve character.
Rediscover light.
The original proportions remain legible while the ground floor becomes a more fluid sequence of domestic spaces. A generous opening towards the garden draws light deep into the plan; mineral plaster, oak, pale stone and bronze bring old and new together without erasing their differences.
